Free School Meals

To ensure the health and wellbeing of all our students, the Academy offers a breakfast club between 9.00am - 9.30am and all students are given the opportunity to have a free hot meal in the Community Hub’s canteen.

Free School Meals Support from Birmingham City Council:

Birmingham City Council will be funding free school meals for eligible pupils over the half term period.  This has been a fast moving situation with a local response being provided to a national issue and BCC apologise that they were not able to inform you earlier.

Birmingham City Council are working to ensure vouchers or equivalent can be provided retrospectively to schools after the half-term break, to be distributed to families.

Support will be available at the beginning of term.   In the meantime, please see the link below which directs families to the support available from Birmingham Children’s Partnership.

PLEASE BE AWARE:  Coronavirus Outbreak

During theses unprecedented times some Schools have already reported that parents and carers of children in receipt of free school meals are being targeted by fraudsters. Fraudsters are targeting families, emailing parents and carers with messages such as ‘If your child is entitled to free school meals send your bank details to the school and they will help with funding while the school is closed’. The email contains links for the parents to follow if they want to receive this funding – these links are fake. This is a scam. Please share this information with parents and carers to make them aware of this scam.
